The Botanical Garden is located in the Fleuri Mountain on the outskirts of Victoria. The garden gathers more than 80 kinds of rare plants on the Seychelles, such as tall hardwoods, two types of palm trees, white anchovy-shaped orchids, peculiar bottle plants, extremely rare Jellyfish and Seychelles’ national treasure sea coconut trees.
Tropical botanical garden, strong and coquettish style.
The botanical garden is not very big, basically you can go shopping in an hour, the ticket is 100 rupees. There is a tortoise garden in the park, and a Chinese garden that was built last year. There are more mosquitoes, so take care!
The shrubs in the botanical garden are very strange and fresh
In the capital’s botanical garden, although it is not too big, there are green plants, trees and flowers, and tall coconut trees. The coconuts produced there weigh 10 kilograms, which represent love. The botanical garden is very rich in content.
better maintenance required. some potential nice area was closed (did not tell at gate) because the need to cut a tree
Lovely walk, beautifully set out, not many activities, cafes were all closed. But ok! Tickets overpriced a bit for what you are actually getting!
Absolutely gorgeous garden. The grounds are very well kept. It is really worth the visit although mosquito repellent is a must. It takes about 1 1/2 - 2 hours to walk around unless you stop for turtle...
This botanic garden was the highlight of our visit to Victoria. It is huge, kept well maintained and clean, and there is a lot to see with the different style gardens within.
Not changed since we were last here 16 years ago. Excellent for a slow walk, appreciating the plants and layout. However, I felt the giant tortoises were too many in in far too small an enclosure.
