Very scenic view.
Impressive Mausoleum to the Father of the Chinese Republic on the outskirts of Nanjing. about 20 minutes taxi ride from downtown. wear some comfortable shoes, you will need them for the long walk up to the top
we bought tickets with student discount which cost 50 yuan and we have access to all places around, spend 2 hours for the Mausoleum
I went to the Zhongshan Mountain scenic park. Bought my ticket 100rmb which entitles you to visit the 4 main spots Meiling Palace,Meiling Tomb, Purple Mountain (Sun Yat-Sen Mausoleum) and the Linggu scenic area. I would definitely recommend this option. Everything is within walking distance from each other so no need for the bus ticket and DO NOT make use of taxi's driving around there. They are over priced. The mausoleum is definitely the high light but beware its extremely crowded. Even though I went on a Tuesday and it was about to rain... But definitely worth it.
Very amazing view on the city from the Mausoleum. Free entrance which is amazing but a lot of stairs and people. Not so easy to reach if you can't speak Chinese.
