The Stadthuys is located in the heart of the Dutch Square and was originally used as a church and city government. It is currently the Malacca Museum and contains many precious historical relics from countries such as Malaysia, China, Portugal, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. The Stadthuys Museum is divided into six museums, including the Museum of History and Ethnology, the Museum of Art, the Zhenghe Museum of Art, the Democracy Museum, the Muslim Museum and the Education Museum. Exhibited are exquisite porcelain, coins, historical books, oil paintings and more, which were circulated from abroad. Malaysian prime ministers of various periods, the construction of the Dutch city of Malacca, and the history and culture of the Muslim religion are also introduced.
